“I think you don't choose your brand. The brand chooses you because it becomes an extension of your person, of your essence. Personally, that happened to me. It became part of my daily life and for me it is beyond what I work, our artisans have become my family.“

Mariana Vazquez is an architect, she always had the intention of creating her own brand that, beyond just being a brand, would have a positive impact, which is how Arte a Mano By Mariana Vazquez emerged in August 2017. When she received one of these pieces as a gift, she took home a great surprise when realizing the great work and value that their production processes have. Since she was little she always enjoyed helping, so she took on the task of investigating where they came from and the people involved in these valuable processes. She claims that she felt identified with the product when she saw that not only one person was involved, she somehow saw the potential of being able to help more people by making their community and their pieces known, projecting their talent to the world.

Each piece made by the hands of female artisans from the Los Altos Region of Chiapas using traditional techniques, combining work with expert leather craftsmen, results in a high-quality, elegant, unique product full of 100% Mexican cultural history.
